[Guide] Uroborus Attack Pattern

Post by Soluna »

First of bring potions just in case. Demigod is not really needed but can help the process to be faster. Using Mana Shield can help.

There's a total of 4 heads, each head have different effect of attack:
Red / Yellow: High Damages
Blue: Poison
White: Slower Walk Speed

There's a total of 2 Phases, not counting killing the Python Wizards:

1st Phase, the Uroborus will do simple breath attacks and you just have to move out the way before it hit.

after you have damaged the Uroborus enough, the battle will enter the 2nd Phase.

In the 2nd Phase the Uroborus will use devastating breath attacks in the shape O, X and K , which will KO you if you are hit.

However, there is a pattern to look for and hide in the appropriate spot.
O : Middle
X : UP, Down, Left, Right
K UP : Left, Right, UP
K DOWN : Left, Right, Down
K Left : Up, Down, Right
K Right : Up, Down, Left

The pattern consist of 3 cycles, and at the end of the 3rd cycle will go back to the first cycle

Cycle 1: Normal Attack, Normal Attack, O Breath, X Breath, O Breath, Idle
Cycle 2: Normal Attack, Normal Attack, K Breath face up, X Breath, K Breath face down, Idle
Cycle 3: Normal Attack, Normal Attack, K Breath face right, O Breath, K Breathe face left, Idle
* Idle is the best time to attack

The Pattern Video is Here:

If you were killed, the pattern will rest back to Cycle 1 however. For this reason, it might be easier to actually do this mission alone than have a Royal Alchemist to help you because any death will cause the pattern to reset and is difficult to determine which Snake Head is targeting you at time.

I just finished helping a friend with their g11 final on hardmode. @_@!
I made this quickly as an easier visual aid/reminder:

It's far more useful than "face down K" imo. :P
