For the Ant Hell missions of G18E1, if the compass points south or south east, restart the mission until it points in a different direction. (It is glitched so it'll be impossible to reach the herb.) Also in the same mission, when you reach the herb, just hold the alt key and click on the small nametag of the herb and you'll be able to skip the monsters, if you can manage to reach it without being hit.

For the ant hell mission I found that summoning a mount near the glitched doors helps getting past them, since if it gets on the other side you just mount your pet and you end up on the other side.

Right-click a bag in your inventory to close it is faster and easier than trying to hit that tiny x.
