I agree with you about your sentiment with regards to the weapon, however. That big.. column (?) he's using for battle just looks stupid. >_>; A sword would be inappropriate as well, but some kind of a battle axe would be sweet. Maybe they'll make it a 2nd weapon choice for him later on?
