Homestead Wagon bonus (outdated)

Making a separate thread to hopefully attract more focused attention to a potentially important issue. :P


Not mine, lol. But someone claims they stack to more than 15.

They stack more than 15, I have 22 wagons at the moment and so the bonus was "+200 +440" for a total of +640 per field

This translates to a 10% bonus per wagon for the strawberry.

However...

I just got a 25% bonus from having one wagon. I got an addition of 65 from harvesting cabbage.

But the wiki said the following.
"Bonus effect from Wagons stack (e.g. 15 wagons = +150% bonus). However, if you have any light wagons as well, the light wagons will not contribute any bonus. (e.g. 15 wagons & 1 light wagon = +150% bonus) "

Not sure if these are taking into consideration:
I Got a house and I also have a pond, a apple tree, 1 patch of prairie grass, 2 Small Chrysanthemum, 1 Daffodil, a well.

So... 10% vs 25%. Could it be that the stack effect per wagon weakens as you get more of them? Or perhaps the bonus affects different crops differently (strawberry vs cabbage)?

We need more info, as this could boost efficiency for everyone considerably.

Okay, an update: I hit lvl 9, built a Wagon and tested the bonus with Pumpkin. The bonus was only 5% (280 + 14) for both fields. From this we can assume that placement of the field relative to the wagon does not affect the bonus?

I did build the Wagon late into the crops' growth period, and I did boost their growth rate with music playing. Maybe that has a negative effect on the bonus? It seems doubtful, but I'm just throwing it out there.

Next I'll try planting cabbage to see if the 5% bonus is consistent in my farm or not. Perhaps other objects affect the bonus rate?

Well, the crops are done, so here's another update and more data!

So the bonus is 10% now, regardless of crop type. I suspect that I got half the bonus before because I had built the Wagon after I planted the crops.

Now the question is, how does one reach guyguru's 25% bonus? I'll try building a pond, but I'm low on stones and I've been having horrible luck with them today. :( Hopefully someone can posts results for this experiment before me!
