Regarding Knuckle Damage Calculating:

Aubog stats
Tailoring Kit = 187 Max Damage
[s]434 Strength = 173.6 Max Damage
187 - 173.6 = 13.4[/s] This is wrong.
Because Any New Characters Start out with 10 Str, that 10 Str is not actually accounted for in damage...
It should really be 424 Strength and therefore 424/2.5 = 169.6 -> 169
And with Combat Mastery Rank 1 +18 Max
169 + 18 = 187

Justinishere stats
Empty Bottle = 96 Max Damage
[s]206 Strength = 82.4 Max Damage
96 - 82.4 = 13.6[/s]
Following above formula:
206-10 = 196/2.5 = 78.4 -> 78
78 + 18 = 96
In both case it matches and displayed correctly. In other words, if someone were to equip any item that is not knuckle should have base damage of their combat rank. In these cases, 18 damage at rank 1. Actually worked with Sky very very very very very long ago to discover the 10 Strength lie :x ... and true base damage do start at 0~0.

For combat mastery I am sure it affects the damage:
Image
Which shows 2 damage increase from Ranking Rank F to Rank E Combat Mastery and can't be the work of the 2 Strength Increase...

Now... with regards to the 3 Will increase 1 Max... I been trying to tinker with it a bit... and my conclusion is...

I hate math... but err I do have a not so great proof that it is not 2.5 Will = 1 Max...
Image
Is a simple title switch that the fighter destiny gives 20 Will, which only increase the Max Damage by 7 as opposed 8 Max damage if it were to be 2.5 = 1 Max.

That's... my best proof now without wanting to go in deeper...

And errr... I think Knuckle Mastery is bugged on testing... it is added to any type of weapon regardless... unless I been seeing flying reindeer again...

Testing 2 Changes:
It would seem that the new Knuckles will be special weapons in ducat shops, here is Brace Knuckle at 1.2mil.
Image

The new trade post, unlike the old one have no commerce ready goods for trade, you have to defeat monsters/gather in the map to obtain it:
Image

Purifying Forest Quests:
The new map is a cursed land where you can find tree's like spew weird purple smokes. You can purify it by breaking the tree, and a mission similar to defending the dragon egg will begin (except you just have to kill monsters in waves and there's nothing to protect.)
*Yes, Only Giants can Break the Trees to Start the Quests*

Through-out the fight, different modes will appear:

Here is all the modes:

Witch Skartha, like Tarlach, she is cursed and have different forms depending on the time of day:

Melee Elves must be hating their lives right now. Forever weak in melee. Martial arts was their only salvation. Devcat just went LOLNOPE.avi.

...I admit that melee for elves would be nice, but we can also bring up the argument that giant will forever be weak in range
also loving the reduced load time for counter, great for magic counter whichisreallytheonlythingimgoodatstoplaughing...

C2 never made sense to me to begin with. Elves are giant warriors... How in the world did they split them into two races?... (Don't mention Christmas pseudo-elven crap please...)
