[KR Testing] Talent System + Misc.

-Talent System-

Basically re-work destiny system, now there's 17 talent to choose from (well currently 16):
(Initial Bonus)
Traveler +10 will +10 life
Knight +20 Str
Mage +10 Int +10 Mana
Archer +10 Str +5 Life +5 Stamina (No... don't ask me why it adds Str)
Trader (Commerce) +10 Luck +10 Stamina
Battle Alchemist +10 Mana +15 Stamina
Fighter +10 Will +10 Life
Bard + 10 Str +15 Stamina
*Puppet Master +5 Str +10 Dex + 5 Stamina
Lancer +15 Str +5 Life
Priest +10 Int + 10 Life
Transmute Alchemist +10 Mana +15 Stamina
Cook +10 Dex +10 Stamina
Black Smith +10 Dex + 10 Stamina
Tailor +10 Dex +10 Stamina
Pharmacist +10 Dex +10 Stamina
Carpenter +20 Stamina

Each one give bonus to different skills (The x2 Skills Bonus).

Each talent also have a talent level. Talent level is raised from ranking the respective talent skills

For example:
Lance Mastery Rank 1 adds 91k Exp to Lancer Talent
Lance Counter Rank 1 adds 104000 Exp to Lancer Talent
Lance Charge Rank 1 adds 189000 Exp Lancer Talent
*Note: Above is for Human, different race also gain different amount of exp despite having the same skill.

Different Talent Level will give different bonuses. And you after the mastery of skills of Rank 1 Talent you can go after the Grand Master Title.

As a result stat caps has been raised to 1500 instead 999, Monster HP also been raised for missions as well.

Aside from the new system, there's also lots of GUI interface Changes.

AP: 0/2/3/4/5/6/7/10/13/16/20/30/40/50/60/70 [+30 Luck] (336 APs) Rank1: 15% Ducat Profit increase.

Hoe Mastery -
AP: 1/1/1/2/2/2/5/4/4/4/7/5/5/5/10 [+21Will] (58 APs) Rank 1: -1 sec, bonus rate +15%, success rate +15%

Harvest -
1/1/1/2/2/2/5/4/4/4/7/5/5/5/10 [+14Will/+5Stamina] (58 APs) Rank 1: -1 sec, bonus rate +15%, success rate +15%

Sheep Shearing Mastery -
AP: 1/1/1/2/2/2/3/3/5/5/5/6/7/8/12 [+22Dex] (63 APs) Rank 1: -2 sec, bonus rate +20%

Egg Mastery -
AP: 1/1/1/2/2/2/3/3/3/3/4/4/4/5/7 [+15Dex] (45 APs) Rank1: -2.5 sec, bonus rate +20%

Mining Mastery -
AP: 2/2/3/3/4/4/5/5/6/6/8/8/9/9/14 [+25Str] (88 APs) Rank 1: -1 sec, bonus rate +20%, success rate +15%

Mushroom Mastery
AP: 1/1/1/2/2/2/3/3/3/3/4/4/4/5/7 [+15Int] (45 APs) Rank 1: -2 sec, bonus rate +20%

Milking
AP: 1/1/1/2/2/2/3/3/3/3/4/4/4/5/7 [+17Stamina] (45 APs) Rank 1: -3 Second

So does this mean I cant train multiple life skills by choosing Merchant anymore? Bittersweet update for free rebirthing :(

i cant say theres anything about this that looks good,or even has a point to it.
only thing i really like is they are starting to finally update some older hairstyles/graphics
im going to miss the old character select screen though... that one looks...out of place to me for some reason, maybe if it were the soulstream.

Any idea what happens to the leveling stat bonus from the old destiny system? Is that gone or replaced with the base stats from talent and talent level?

To be honest I don't know yet, I assume on testing right now they follow their original class growth.
You can view old destiny as main class (control the growth) and talent as sub-class (control the skill bonus) I suppose?

I was on earlier but didn't really pay attention to stat growth... I do know that the talents that apply to you still give stats regardless of which one you choose, for example:

My giant has 285 STR (from 203 base) this is because he gets:

70 STR from skill ranks of the warrior talent and
Image
12 STR from skill ranks of the lancer talent.

I am pretty sure the destiny is there, talent is an add-on to it not removing it, because Puppet Master is still the new destiny and probably will be in testing soon.

*Just to clarify you can tell by the skill icon in the selection blue = mage, orange = alchemy, pink = bard, gray=fighter etc... except for range... they are red but they are not warrior... on day they will be... another color maybe...

Actually... thinking about it again, maybe that's why archer got str boost because it is red skill, and I wouldn't be surprised if they removed the old growth all together with this new system... But yea I am gonna go with the theory of "main/sub class" idea for now... =3= with absolutely no proof at all!

*And !@#$ you devCat, putting in puppet frames but not the mesh so I can't look at it >:|
