Well, blaze isn't the only useful AoE magic gives to merlin knuckles, there's also shockwave, which adds a MUCH larger range than WM, especially wm done with knuckles..

Can you pick the regular Druid Talent (non-hero) via free rebirth?

Why would shockwave be druid? Also, shockwave came long before this update, which means having the mage or cleric talent double trains it. (So Mage, Cleric, and Druid all train shockwave.) The way hybrid skills work is, lets say you need lvl6 adventure and close combat to get Doppelganger, that means having either talent as the active talent would train Doppelganger.

To be technical, when Mabinogi first popped around the "mage" portion was actually druid anyways...

Actually, Druids were not the only ones who performed magic. Even Cichol said magic was a cheap imitation of what he does. Same is true in mythology.

shockwave from what i can tell is considerd as a hidden/hybrid skill not one of the main skills. and not to mention shockwave dosent even come close to the dmg rate as the other skills, its just more or less a mage WM with rather decant range
