I don't believe it does, though it's beginning bonus might. If I recall it is stamina, dex and int, I'll verify after work.

and you'd have to be real desperate for some mana/will if you wanted to rank those magic shields...

least the new skills are helpful
and i guess dex is better than nothing if your a puppeteer
