Well, look at it this way. You can change talents to train different skills every week now.It's not so bad.

I get it.
You cant keep your talent because they want you to have to re-buy zero cards just to get the Hero talent again. Considering the Battle alchemy/Cosntruct alchemy talent sucks for alchemy, this is a pretty dickmove

Can't that be avoided by not selecting the "New Talent" option when rebirthing?
Or am I missing something?

No because it forces you pick a talent at rebirth screen and if same talent selected it gives you a pop up message forbidding you. Retaining same age, appearance has no effect on this; as long as you rebirth, you pick a new talent.

No... free rebirth still don't give dyes =w=/
Also, Hero talents cannot be selected unless you use paid rebirth-> Zero card only. (Guess what is going to be the trend +_+? MOAR HEROES!!)
And just to Clarify on the restriction:
Warrior -> Warrior (X)
Warrior -> Archer -> Warrior (O)
