They come with some pretty OP stuff, fans of the series really should cross their finger to hope it be released in all region.

And a tip would be "talk" about it but not "post" about it haha... if anyone can figure out that that means.

=3= this is why i hate crossovers unless the entire game is dedicated to it(hur dur srw etc)
items either don't fit the world, or end up being one of the strongest things in the game.

kinda pointless to make this complaint about a game with lightsabers,scooters,and miku hair recolors running amuck anyway.

I like the idea of crossovers; to me it just looks like a fun concept for a game that's all about "fantasy life." Mabinogi has never been consistent with its world, anyway.

Can't read Japanese so I don't know if it has any additional info, but I thought it fit the thread. I'm assuming the magazine article is about the release announcement for JP.


This is the promo vid for SAO x TalesWeaver (another Nexon JP game). I think the way they recreated scenes, dungeons and bosses from the anime is pretty awesome. They even have SAO-style dungeons and whatnot.
By contrast, Mabinogi's crossover consists of character outfits with animations (Kirito, Asuna, Lisbeth, Heathcliff), some matching weapons, a Yui partner, etc. Pretty nice for cosplayers, but not nearly as cool as what they have in TalesWeaver, imo. :P

i'm guessing we can assume dual swords, a over sized shield, and other things.
and hairs that will be in the shop for like a month and never be selectable again despite them reusing them in the game on npcs and such (...:l)
not like i could bring myself to buy a crossover hair anyway i suppose, kinda prefer things directly from the game over referential things that remind me of other things.

It would be pretty cool if Mabinogi went into more high tech stuff. Didn't milletians come from space or something? Or was that some other race? It would be interesting if they went into the origins and possibly the discovery of ancient technologies or something. Then perhaps we could have something Gundam themed. v:

Story-wise is been getting worse every generation, skill-wise there's very low originality, and training wise is getting grindier than usual.

But there are positive points also, story are given more comical effects and characters, skill wise is having more choices, and system wise dream update did pretty well... since it made new record high for KR Mabi's concurrent logon. You gotta give them props on when they are trying.

The scooter is pretty funny and cool, but at the same time you have to agree it IS weird to drive it around with the game's setting.

On topic though, anime xross overs are fine as long as it don't over do it. Otherwise it will really should be called Anime-nogi when there's no story to support it anymore.
