This needs the back-story, too! I all started when...
...a peaceful sheep was minding its own business as we fought the Prairie Dragon.
But no, the dragon had to be an ass and petrify the innocent sheep. :|
The sheep did not approve, to say the least!
It even got rewarded for its bravery and valour in battle against the mighty dragon.
Sigea, however, did not respect the sheep's valour, it seems. :(

what is he going to do? leave it there knowing full well the sheep will never pick it up even if it had the inv room to hold it?
and how is it going to equip it?
is it just going to sell it? for what? what does a sheep need gold for? all it cares about is getting into fights it can't win and fidgeting around too much
i say he respected his valour plenty by rescuing the sheep's drop from the pits of mabinogi's gold based item decay
