It sounds like whoever was on the base part was not playing perfectly. That or the MML code itself is flawed. I heard just a few inconsistent wrong notes here and there. I know because I've played that song straight from the sheets of marasy8's arrangement, and the little mistakes can't fool my absolute pitch.
